Moniepoint Microfinance Bank has unveiled Moniebook, a new all-in-one Point-of-Sale (POS) and business management system designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) streamline operations, improve efficiency, and access real-time business insights.
Positioned as the first solution in Nigeria to fully integrate payments and bookkeeping in a single platform, Moniebook targets businesses across retail, hospitality, health, and other service sectors. The platform combines advanced software capabilities with robust hardware to help entrepreneurs manage inventory, track sales, process payments, monitor staff activity, and generate reports from one dashboard.
A tool for visibility, accountability and growth
Speaking at the launch, Babatunde Olofin, Managing Director of Moniepoint MFB, said Moniebook was built to give business owners more control over their day-to-day operations.
“Our mission has always been to help businesses grow by giving them the tools they need to succeed,” he said. “Moniebook is engineered to be a growth partner for businesses — a holistic source of truth in the hands of every entrepreneur. By providing full visibility over sales, staff, customers, and inventory in real-time, we are giving business owners the control they need to scale efficiently and securely.”
The product has already undergone a beta rollout, with more than 4,000 businesses onboarded and over N19 billion processed in transaction value. Early users say the tool has helped them better understand their operations and improve profitability.
A retail entrepreneur, BBQ Chef, shared their experience: “I discovered through Moniebook that I had made over N2 million in my first month! It tracks my sales, manages inventory, and is so easy for my team to use. Honestly, any business not using Moniebook is missing out.”
Built to solve everyday SME challenges
Oluwole Adebiyi, Head of Product for Moniebook, said the platform was developed in response to the operational challenges Nigerian SMEs face daily.
“For too long, business owners have had to juggle multiple, disconnected tools to manage critical operations,” he said. “Whether you’re running a supermarket, a restaurant, or multiple retail outlets, you shouldn’t have to juggle five different systems. Moniebook gives you everything in one place — fast, secure, and scalable.”
According to him, simplifying these complexities allows entrepreneurs to focus on serving customers and expanding their businesses, reinforcing Moniepoint’s commitment to supporting Nigeria’s SME ecosystem.
