QNET showcases QLEARN, others at Lagos Product Expo

Global direct-selling company QNETon Saturday, November 29, 2025, drew thousands of attendees at its Lagos Product Expo, where the firm showcased its expanding portfolio of digital learning platforms and wellness technologies.

The two-day exhibition, which held in Lagos over the weekend, attracted about 5,000 visitors on the first day, with another 3,000 expected on the second day—bringing total attendance to roughly 8,000 participants.

Speaking at the event, Berni Gaksch, Regional Strategy and Marketing Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, highlighted the company’s flagship e-learning platform, QLEARN, describing it as a response to the growing entrepreneurial ambitions of young Africans, particularly Gen Z.

QLEARN targets young entrepreneurs

Gaksch said many young people aspire to start businesses but often lack foundational business knowledge or the confidence required to pitch ideas, speak publicly or network effectively.

“Between ages 18 and 20, most people have no real business sense. They want money, but they don’t know how to get it,” he said.

“With QLEARN, we wanted to give them that business foundation—whether they studied science, engineering or something else entirely.”

The platform offers courses in presentation skills, writing for digital communication, business management, and sales planning. It also features the Certified Network Marketer Plus programme developed in the United States to educate QNET distributors on the broader direct-selling industry.

  • Gaksch added that QNET sources additional content from institutions in the UK and elsewhere to ensure learners receive globally aligned training. While many young users see QLEARN as their entry point into entrepreneurship, he emphasized that success ultimately depends on personal effort.
  • Gaksch also addressed misconceptions around QNET’s affiliation with a Malaysian university owned by its parent company, QI Group.
  • He explained that the institution, vwhich offers programmes in medicine, business and economics, operates independently of QNET and does not admit students through the company.“You apply by yourself, just as you would with any other university,” he said, noting that Nigerian and Ghanaian students are among those currently enrolled.

Wellness products on display: air and water filtration systems

Beyond digital learning, QNET showcased its wellness devices, including an air purification system certified to neutralize harmful particles such as viruses.

According to Gaksch, the purifier uses a layered filtration process that includes a pre-filter and an electrostatic component that “zaps” contaminants. Although not 100% foolproof, he said the system offers 99.94% effectiveness.

The company also presented its HomePure Nova water filtration solutions designed to remove chlorine, rust, chemicals and other impurities. Gaksch explained that while chlorine is essential for public sanitation, it can dry out the skin and hair.

“With our shower filter, the chlorine is removed before it hits your body,” he said, adding that users can opt for vitamin C-infused cartridges that provide aromatherapy and enhanced skin hydration.

He also cautioned that boiling water does not eliminate all harmful chemicals and removes essential minerals, describing filtered water as a healthier alternative.

  • The Lagos Product Expo provided a platform for QNET to deepen engagement with Nigerian consumers, many of whom explored the company’s technologies, lifestyle products and business opportunities.
  • With thousands of attendees across the two-day event, QNET says the strong turnout underscores the rising interest in digital entrepreneurship tools and home wellness solutions among Nigerians.
